Janica Kostelic in skiing, Blanka Vlašic in athletics, Duje Draganja, Sanja Jovanovic and Đurdica Bjedov in swimming, Dražen Petrovic, Krešimir Cosic, Toni Kukoc and Dino Rada in basketball, Željko Mavrovic and Mate Parlov in boxing, Branko Cikatic and Mirko Filipovic known as Cro Cop in Mixed martial arts, Tamara Boroš in table tennis are one of the most famous athletes.
